Heißer Deckel

Finally, a lid that actually fits flush over the whole 9-by-13 surface, so my lasagna stays sealed during the drive to my mom’s. The ceramic feels solid enough to stack leftovers in the fridge without worrying about cracking. That’s exactly what I needed for potlucks.

Grabbed this lid so I could bring the casserole to a friend’s place without juggling foil and a dish towel. The ceramic is hefty in a good way, and it sits snug on the 9-by-13 rim, so nothing sloshed out on the drive over.

The lid fits the 9-by-13 dish perfectly and feels heavy enough that I don't worry about it sliding off in the car. Took the whole casserole to a friend's house last night and it stayed warm the entire drive—no spills, no fuss.
