Boiling pasta water for a crowd used to take forever, but this pot gets to a rolling boil noticeably faster. The oversized handles are a lifesaver too—I can finally lift a full pot with all four fingers, no more clawing at the rim.

That eight-quart pot is a workhorse — I can lift a full pot of chili with the oversized handles using all four fingers, and the heat distribution is so even there are no hot spots on the bottom.

Boiling a full pot of pasta water took noticeably less time than my old pot, and the heat stayed even across the bottom. The oversized handles really let me grip firmly when I’m carrying it to the sink full of potatoes.
