The 8-quart stock pot boils water noticeably faster than my old one, and the 3-quart saucier holds heat so evenly that my hollandaise finally stopped splitting. The pair takes up less cabinet space than I thought two hefty pieces would.
The oversized handles really do give you a confident grip—even with my big oven mitts on, I can hoist the 8-quart pot with one hand when it’s full. Water hits a rolling boil noticeably faster than my old setup, and the saucier holds a steady simmer for delicate sauces without scorching.
Took these out for chili night and the 3-quart saucier held a steady simmer without scorching the bottom, which my old pot always did. The oversized handles really do give you a secure grip even with oven mitts on, and the 8-quart’s even heat distribution is noticeable from the first boil.
